Wean i start projet64k and i get THIS

graphics Error :(


Direct3D failed to intialize your HAL device
make sure you heave a properly configured
3D graphics card comptibe with Direct3D 6.0

failed to intialize graphics.


and i got DirectX 9.0 waht do that mean ?

i got a verto nvidia Ge force fx graphics card.

and i cant get this thing to wrok.

can you help me out.... :matrix:

Yea, I usually use the next to newest with Nvidia because they seem to release drivers without stress testing them with different popular games, I remember a few years back when NWN was still version 1.21, Nvidia released a new video driver, and like an idiot I installed it, and wasn't able to play the game until I realised XP allowed me to roll back my drivers.

NWN still has that opengl bug. i've had some fix it with the creation of a extension limit.. and with others it hasn't :(

91.31 are the newest WHQL, but i recommend 84.29 WHQL

You don't install Direct3D. Either your card supports it via DirectX or it doesn't (meaning that your drivers are borked).
