  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

Hey guys,

This is my first try, so please go easy on me! I decided to try and retexture Majora's Mask to make it look more hi-rez. I'm not doing this extremely seriousely, as in, I'm doing it on my own time and will only release it if a lot of people want it. I just started doing this about 3 hours ago, so tell me what you think!

P.S. I'm having a bit of a problem. I'm trying to make Kafei's hair brown, and I've saved the file of the texture that I want to replace his hair with under the right name and everything (and ingame I can kind of see the texture underneath) but it stays blue. Any help?

Thanks!

Haha, yes, the moon has gums. However I can't get the actual surface of the moon to look right. Whenever I change the texture (this happens at 1x and 400x) it seems like it completely forgets the UVW mapping and tiles the textures extremely small.

Those teeth on the moon... those aren't human teeth from a photo are they? o_O

Also I think it would look a lot better if the gums were a darker shade of perhaps red. That pinky colour looks a bit strange :).

At your service, dood!
Those shots you shown us there are too small for us to even see the difference, you see the point of high-res is for it to be actually high-res.
