make the resolution 320x240 and use as the standard plugin one of the included, (PJ 1.5?).

Make sure you don't have Anti aliasing enabled and no "tripple v-buffer" or something like that... basically put everything on minimum, then judge the fps you get.

but you might have a low speed PC for that matter.

Full screen 320x340 should be the standard definition of most N64 games on the TV, so don't worry.

i think if you use the v1.5.2 plugin there is no framebuffer emulation there without copy to rdram enabled.. try that plugin.
