Well, the title says it all. It worked fine on my old rig, but I've built an entirely new, modern system.

It is worth noting that the following error appears when I start a ROM:

"have not implemented RSP MF CP0 reg SP DRAM DMA address (1)"

I wonder if the problem lies with any of my components?

Processor:
AMD Athlon X2 4200+
Memory:
2GB Corsair in Dual Channel
Hard Drive:
250G|WD 7200 SATA2 16MB WD2500KS
Video Card:
XFX 7900GT 256MB PV-T71G-UDE7
Sound Card:
Audigy 2 ZS
Mainboard:
ASUS A8N5X

Now, I've tried other audio plugins. If anyone knows of any others I could try besides the ones listed below, make mention.

Azimer's: Plays sound, but crackles can be heard at certain points in playback.

zilmar's: Doesn't play.

schibo's: Doesn't play.

NoSound: Works.

Well, I tried that, and the sound still doesn't work, and I still get that error I mentioned before.

EDIT: Ah, the similar threads function saves the day!

In another thread made some years ago, this was suggested:

go to the configure rsp plugin in the options menu and see if the first one is checked. if it is uncheck it because jabo's audio plugin can't do hle audio

It works now! Though, I still get that RSP error... Maybe it's because I'm on a dual core CPU?

Wolfstan,
you are causing yourself these problems by fiddling with options you don't understand.
set the RSP core back to Recompiler, should solve that error.

Oh. Well, thanks a bunch. The fault is mine, then.
