Ok so are iso's also .gcm files, and does dolphin read iso's? or what, i dont understand this... do you download iso's or gcm files...?

Iso's can be seen as the content of a CD or DVD in one file with all it's properties.

GCM's are ISO's which contain Gamecube disc data.

yeah, I read the rules, but we are allowed to atleast discuss them right?

ok so say I get an iso, will dolphin read that iso? i mean its gonna be game.iso right? or will I have to rename the file to game.gcm?

it will run both, earlier versions had some troubles but 1.03 beta should run both fine, but in most cases it's best to just rename them to gcm.
