Resident Evil: Code Veronica Error

It seems others can run this game no problem but I get this error as soon as the DC logo is drawn. The only thing I can think of is I know my version of RE:CV is the US version but my bios is Euro. Could this be the problem or is there something else you think it might be? Any help is appreciated.

The BIOS version should have no effect on the game.

I forgot to mention the error box is labelled IO Control in the taskbar. Any other suggestions?

try to find a us bios and see if that helps or the rom is bad

Also, try to mount the disc image using Daemon Tools v3.29. I had the same error (or, at least it sounds the same), and using v3.29 got rid of the problem. Hope that helps. Mouser X out.
