Sound Issues

I really enjoy playing game on the Pj64, but I've always had problems with the sound crackiling and poping. I looked on a few
forums and found a suggestion to use the plugin Azimer's Audio
v0.21(driver rev 2.1). So I downloaded it. Now the sound is 75% better but still cracks a little. What should I do to improve the sound if I can.

Before you say it's normal, you have to find out how bad the "crackling" is - I hardly get any.. if it's very noticeable, that's not normal. People posting about this really need to give us an MP3 or something.

What games does it crackle on?

Have you tried changing the buffer sizes, and the various options of the audio plug-in?

I don't tend to get much crackle at all, and my system is identical to yours except mine is an Athlon 900
(P3s are usually considered to be better with PJ64).

my games are:

Zelda:MM
Star Wars:SotE
Rayman 2
007:TWINE
Scooby doo
Mario Kart 64
