I am running chankast .025a

Using a Microsoft sidewider controller i can't change/assign the directional movements to P1 Joy left/right/up down. It only lets me pick Analog X and Analog Y for the directional pad, Is there any way to fix this?

Basically i can't play Border Down , Under Defeat, Radigly, because they need the joy up/down/left/right and don't use the analog.

I was going to buy a saturn usb controller but on the shooting games i can't move since it only uses the joy left/right/up down and not teh analog. I don't want to buy a saturn controller and only be stuck in the same prediciment.. Anyone have any solutions?

I use a PSX USB adapter for my stuff... The one I have also has a spot for Gamecube controllers (but the support for them seems to be very broken), and Dreamcast controllers (which I haven't tested because I don't have a DC controller). I think it's the Tri-Linker Pro, or something. Sorry, but that's the best I have. You could use the keyboard, I guess... Mouser X over and out.

try this: Darkman Input Plugin
32005
My controller is Microsoft Xbox360 controller for windows. works great.

also update your DirectX to 9.0c, it has some update for controller input.
