Need help with MAME [Archive]

When i change something in the mame.ini (the file in the main dir, created after you run "mame -cc") and start mame, nothing has changed. it starts only with default settings. what can i do to make it run with my own settings?

What version are you using ?
Make sure you use the Mame32 ,the one with a frontend not the command line version

dunno, perhaps saving the ini and then marking it as "read only" may help.

I dont know why, but it works now.
