What plugin are you using? I have a 6600GT and I use Jabo's D3D 1.6, try that one if you haven't

Oh, i should have said this in my last post, get the latest drivers for everything, and run adaware or whatever you have.

just google, there are quite a few, but in my experience, Jabo's works the best. Go to options and settings and see what vider plugin you are using. Also, get the latest version of PJ64 and the latest RDB if you haven't already.

PJ64 and updates:

and in case you're lazy:

here's one thing you can do, right click a blank area on the task bar, open task manager and go to performance. Move it close to the edge of the screen. Run PJ64 and start a rom. Adjust the windows so you can see CPU Usage and Physical memory available. As you're in gameplay, take a look at those numbers. This will help determine if you have the power. Also, config sound plugin (UNcheck the sync game to sound box). Even try turning the sound off and see if the video is still bad. I have a feeling that the 1.5 GHz isn't enough for the high req roms. Go find some low req roms ond see how they work.

it doesn't work like that. It's about emulator effenciency. If i turn the FPS limiter off, i can get about 150 FPS in most n64 games. If i do it in my genesis emulator, i get about 62 (60 is the base rate for NTSC). Perfect Dark runs kinda slow on my actuas N64 (yes expansion pack), so try a different game. Download and run Adaware to get rid of adware and spyware. If you're as novice as you sound, you probably have 1000 spywares.

Oh and I forgot to mention, I can't help anymore today, I'm leaving soon. That's probably the best I could do anyway.
