How do I aim?

I looked all over to see if this was addressed, but I cant seem to get the mouse to work as a axis, my mouse always stays a normal arrow and never comntrols the games cross hairs. I tried to use my mouse to aim in turok shadow of oblivion. I went to the input thingy and changed the axis's to mouse axis, i tried ever combination, but I shud of figured it wouldnt be that easy.

Let' me ask a few control questions.

1. What input plugin are you using?
2. What buttons does Turok use for looking up/down/left/right (I can't check myself right now.)

For #2:

C buttons to move around
Joystick to turn left/right, and up/down to look up/down

if you change to lefty controls, it switchs the c buttons to the d pad.
