I have been using PJ64 version 1.4 to play 1080, Shadow Man, Harvest Moon, and Paper Mario with only minor problems (video issues in Paper Mario and HM). Last night when I ran Shadow Man, I noticed the numbers at the bottom of the program were jumping around like crazy and the game was sped up. I tried all the other ROMs I have and got the same problem. I looked around for a possible skip frame option with no luck and I even reloaded PJ64 1.4 to give it a fresh start- but it still had the same problem.

Edit- I found out today that there is a version 1.6 out so I loaded that. All of my games run at a normal speed now, but Shadow Man is unresponsive to the control keys once a save state is loaded. Are there known problems with using a save state from older verisons in 1.6? How do I go about loading in save states from 1.4? - This only seems to be a problem for Shadow Man so far, Paper Mario save states work in 1.6 with the controls.

It would be awesome if someone could either help me fix 1.4 or help me with Shadow Man in 1.6... any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am running Shadow Man (U).

I would say you accidentally pressed F4 which is a hotkey to make it so that the frame limiter doesn't work. So just press F4 again to make the frame limiter work again.

That's exactly what I must've done. The limit FPS option was unchecked, I pressed F4 again and everything is working perfectly in 1.4. I've been using "1964" for about a year now- but I've only been using PJ64 for about a week... I'm a total newbie. Thanks for the help!
