This is a texturing project i'm starting to work on to texture Gex 3:Deep Cover Gecko into Crash Bandicoot. I think its going to be a very difficult task but I think its possible to texture Gex into a mini Crash Bandicoot. The portals for the different levels resembles those of crash and Gex has similar moves. I really want to change the appearance of the different levels and GEx himself. I could use help on this one. Anoyone interested in helping with the texturing feel free to give ideas and suggestions. I'll probably post pix later. Merry XMAS!

How do you plan on changing the Gex 3d model? Simply changing textures ain't gonna work.

Thats one thing I don't know how to do. But if it would be cool If I could do it. Right now changing just the skin texture of gex sounds most possible then changing the actual model.

There isn't any way to replace models yet. Good idea though.

I actually turning over ideas with Kerb as to my next project about a week ago and I was thinking of doing Mario Story (putting Mario components in Yoshi Story) but even thought it was possible it still exceeds even my patients.
Donald Duck Quack Attack would also transform into a perfect Crash Bandicoot as its a COMPLETE rip off.

If anyones got any good settings for Yoshis Story, you should mod the game to look like the snes version. Or tell me the settings and Id like to crack at it.
Anyway, very interested in how this might turn out... even without crash...
