DirectInput: Failure to Initialize joystick

I am new to PJ64 and have got it to work well on my Win2000 Pro box.

My only problem is I have just hooked up a game controller (Saitek P150 USB) and while Win2000 Plug n Play picked it up immediately, I cannot get PJ64 to recognize it. As a matter of fact, the more I try the more often I get the error in the Subject above.

Is there something I should do or setup? Anyone who can help will be a lifesaver.
