using a TV as a monitor "?"

i'm looking into getting a miniPC and i want to use my TV as a monitor. it already comes with TV out so someone said the wires for it should come with it.....if for some reason they donr what wires do i need to hook up the sound and video

judging by the connections in the back, you'd need an S-video cable and a head-phone jack to analog converter.

Make sure your tv has s-video input.

it has S-Video....also as progressive and composit (think i spelt those 2 wrong)

You only spelt Composite wrong :O. You can do plenty with just S-Video and an Audio Connection. Also Google & download TVTool. I use it to play movies with my widescreen Television. Plug in TV, Install TVTool, Configure and away you go. .

alright thanks....i was gonna use mine to play games......got a good amount of roms so i'm gonna put them on the miniPC and use it as a super counsol. makes me smile just thinking about it
