Need Help With Mystical Ninja!!!

okay, so i downloaded a mystical ninja: starring goemon rom right? but for some reason, it wont work on PJ64 1.6 (not saying that ive tried earlier versions or anything like that). the screen is simply black, and the framerate is at like 5 and 10 or something.... plz help! <:(

windows media center edition 2005
1gb ram
256mb nvidia
pentium 4 3.4gb

The best combination for Mystical Ninja - Starring Goemon is using 1964 with Rice's Video, since any other plugins will run it very slow. You may need to use an older version of Rice's Video for it to have less graphical bugs. Older versions can be found by doing a search of the 1964 forum. The latest version should have the game fully playable with a few minor bugs.

though this doesnt have much to do with mystical ninja, majora's mask works all wierd on 1964, like, some of the stuff is missing, like the thing that says "press start" at the beginning. btw, what did you mean when you said an older version?
