is somethin wrong with my version 1.6 ??

or do i need a certain plugin or do i just need to set something to make it detect more than one file type because i downloaded 27 new roms for it last night and placed them in the same folder as my others and project 64 1.6 doesnt even see them there at all only the ones i first had there so i had to reinstall version 1.4 to play the new roms but had to keep 1.6 as well for certain roms that 1.4 cannot run but i would like to only have to use one if someone can tell me what the issue is ??

my specs are amd athlon 64 3400 @ 2.2ghz
512megs pc3200 DDR SDRAM
ati radeon 9800pro 128meg
120gig hard drive
8x dual formatt dvd burner and i am sure there is some more useless specs to list oo and i run windows xp pro sp2

actually ya u was right i didnt realize i had to refresh the rom list and now its fine but DK64 dont wanna run it gives me an endless loop cycle error how i fix that ?
