everytime i try and start it it says this, "This application has failed to start because d3d9. dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." and i've already re-installed it like 2x.

just download that file... search it in google... and then place it in Windows folder... make a copy a put it in Windows\System folder...

It's the ONLY solution.;) You can't just put a dll in a system directory and magically have DX9.0c installed.

I had a game that doesn't ran even with directx9.0c and I just copied that file to the system folder and it works....

ya but now it's telling me "The procedure entry point MakeCriticalSectionGlobal could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL.dll" and when i downloaded the kernel thing it still didn't work!

sethmcdoogle, the only problem with your idea is that on microsoft's site it requires a genuine check and every i do that it says "INVALID KEY"!

thx for all your help but my computer sucks. because when i downloaded the file again it says "your cpu doesn't support SSE".
