What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart

i got an idea for a project that i would love to see. i would do it myself, but i have no graphic skills at all.
my idea is to do supermario or mariokart in the style of yoshis island for SNES(not the ugly yoshi64). it shouldnt be too hard, because most of the environments in those games can be found in youshi island.
this would give the games a brandnew feeling like djipis celda project.
do you think this could work?

btw: if you also have any ideas of projects you would love to see please post them here.

I would like to try turning Yoshi "64" into the snes one, which looked better stylistically. Theres already a Mario Kart project going on, and Im not sure how you could convert a 3D game in to a 2D one's style, but I reckon yoshi 64 to the snes one, could work. Im actually thinking about it, now. Is it possible to get sprite sheets from SNES roms? if so, thatd make it a whole deal easier.
