What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

Uneditable textures?

Ok, I've currently been working on Virtual Pro Wrestling 2, and I'm having trouble moddifying certain textures. For some unknown reason the certain textures (mainly the text ones) keep on re-appearing in the dump folder, but under different CRC's.

This happens on both image formats, bmp and png. Also at the bottom of the texture there's a 1 pixel line which has some colours on it (like red, orange and other stuff)

Basically I'm having a clone war problem, and I can't solve it.

Ive had this on other games. It kind of kills a project dead. I believe it was Turok 2, or perhaps Spiderman. I just remember it would repeatedly dump a texture and id be like, wtf, ive already got that...ten times.

Hey Imbored. It looks like that's why most projects have died I guess. Oh well, I'll just translate whatever I can

You won't ever be able to edt every single texture made by the framebuffer, since the chance of it making 2 times the same image is very, very low. Simply edit things that are not framebuffer-related.

Hmm... I guess VPW2 uses the framebuffer a lot, as there's a whole load stuff I can't do, oh well, thanks for the replies.
