Hi, can some please tell me how to raise the FPS?

when i play Banjo-Tooie/Kazooie and donkey kong, the music of the game keep getting lag during gamplay and sometimes the game lags also and when my sound gets laggy my FPS go down to 6-25. sometimes it stays on 35-60. so can someone tell me how to keep it up on 35+?

i got 512 ram on my computer and 2.40Hz and my video card is NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 4000.

ah well that's not v1.6, or even v1.5.. upgrade dear boy! pj has got faster & smoother for just those games :)

well when i use Project 64 it says Version 1.6 at the top. and i dont know which plugins im using because those are all the plugins i got in the folder.

and BTW i went to download Project 64 from this thread and i get this message

well i said that because a straight install of pj64 v1.6 from our installer will not give you Jabo_OpenGL.dll. something fishy going on. suggest you uninstalll pj64, download from pj64.net and try again.

you see what plugins you are using by pressing CTRL+T

also check background tasks?

i pressed Ctrl+T and it tells me im using:

Video (Graphics)
Jabo's Direct3D 8 1.6

Audio (sound)
zilmar's Audio Plugin

Input(controller)
Jabo's DirectInput7 1.6

yes and i unstall it and reinstall it, it seems better now but there is some lags on music.

i did that and probem still same, and the games start to freeze alot while im playing :(
