Is there any plan for a debugger? something to display the serial output etc.
Or is there any hooks /memory location where the a utility could be written to display the serial output. ?
I was playing around with a Game cheat memory search tool and have been able to find my serial output in memory, but it moves around so I dont know if this was a way to go for this.
Thanks,

Hi Troy.
It seems they have debug functions for quite some time (but I don't know about the serial port). See http://www.talfi.net/e107/forum_viewtopic.php?3.5771.0#5778
I really hope they could at least release the binaries of a version with the debug functions enabled... :plain:

Thanks good to know that it in there and I can't wait till they release a debugging version.
BTW - is there anyway to detect in code that your running within Chankast and not on a real dreamcast? Because that would make testing a little easier for known issues/differences since some things have work arounds.
Thanks again,
