View Full Version : OoT too bright with Rice's Video?

The more I look at other screenshots, the more I feel that I'm experiencing faulty emulation, for whatever reason.

To the point: The colors in Zelda: OoT have always seemed just... really off to me. Observe the following screenshot:

Is it just me? It seems like the grass is really boldly colored, with an annoying small texture tiled very visibly. And the dirt path seems black instead of brown. Any input would be appreciated, even if it is that my eyes are just bad.

That's because you're either using a limited combiner or your video card misses some feautures. Try to use another combiner or use opengl (through the video plugin options).

It probably has to do with your graphics card or drivers.

he got an old GF 2 MX 400.......
Use the combiner for GeForce 2/4 MX (in the options of the plug-in)

OpenGL works, but is a little slower. Using the GF2 combiner in DirectX makes almost everything solid blue or red.

Try the high-end combiner.
