NVIDIA driver 23.12 on Windows Update!?

I've recently purchased a new system, and I thought I'd run Windows Update, to get everything totally up-to-date.

I was surprised to find NVIDIA drivers 23.12 among the list - although on NVIDIA's site only 23.11 is available.

Anyone else found this?

I'm not really suprised, the drivers from Windows Update don't support adjustment except from NVman, and only provide DirectX drivers, no OpenGL.

The 23.11 drivers from nvidia still have the infinite loop problem, but the beta 27.30 Drivers don't have the problem any more.

27.30 is probably what will be shipping with Geforce4 boards. However, there are a few bugs with FSAA at 1600x1200, and anisotropic filtering speed, so they may be updated 1 more time.
