Yoshi's story doesn't work with any n64 emulator. Also, Smiff, the Snes game is a bit childish

Yoshi's Island childish? Hardly. Tell me of any 6 year old who can actually beat that game...or get a perfect 100 on each stage.

Yoshi is maybe one of the best games for the snes !!!
Maybe P641.4 would make yoshi story workable ....

For best effect stick it on repeat. Then come back and tell me you still want to play this game. (anyone who does this and means it is likely to get banned lol) just kidding ;)

After you rip a few bingers, this game puts you into a world
beyond your wildest hallucinations... then when it's over you
realized you had just been scammed. But... short, childish, gay,
whatever it may be... this game is alright by me
Long Live Yoshi!!

Hi there! I 'm a Yoshi fan too.. And I liked how the intro worked on PJ64 1.2 but in 1.3 it doesn't seem to work. I set Rdram to 4 mb and use Microcode 2, but I can only hear "yoshi" and then nothing more. Any help????

I found out that yoshi japan is more compatible with pj64 than yoshi europe .... in the jap version i get the musik and the menu, but in the game i only see yoshi and the rest is black .
In the europena version i see nothing .
Maybe someone has an idea to make yoshi jap playable ?
bye

The new 1964 INI 0.74 lets Yoshi's Story run, but its very limited.
I used Jabo's D3D plugin which comes with PJ64 and had it on Microde 2 setting.
I've uploaded some screenies i took from 1964

Let's hope PJ64 1.4 supports even more :)

This game would really be a treat, but I'm afraid the authors would only bother emulating it if the emulator was only one
game away from perfection.
Therefore, if we pray for yoshi, we are praying for a 100%
emulated 64. Is it possible??? I'll bet Jabo and Zilmar possess
the genius to do so, but I'm sure they have lives too. It would
be nice but Im far from taking what we have for granted

Well.. that's strange! I had Yoshi's Story working on PJ64 1.2 like 1964 does, but in 1.3 I get nothing :plain: Strange isn't it? Probably the Autors cutted the partial support of Yoshi to make Conker work I suppose... Perhaps to make Yoshi work in 1.2 you had to set microcode 2. Any Ideas? :pj64:

Is there anybody who is working on this issue?
Or will we never see yoshi running through his kid-painted world?

Yea ...
the new Nemu ( v0.8b) can run Yoshistory, but it is not released jet ...
Lillymon

Hmph, Nemu 0.8b can play a lot, but when are we going to play!
...
Sorry to sound whiny, it's just that 1964 keeps screwing up Goldeneye 007. CF too low, unexplained slowdowns. CF too high, whole thing goes jerky. And since when did Nemu 0.8 become Nemu 0.8b?
Oh, and Yoshi's Island rocks. Just be sure to have a nice PC for the ending, that must have really pushed the SuperFX2 chip to its limits...

The new unoffical deadalus plugin from rice runs it somewhat.
