I have a PC controler but i dont know how to get ti to work with the emulator and if PC controles dont work with it how to i change the controls for my keyboard.

Click on the PAD Button. There you can set all the controls for your keyboard. It's the image of the controller of nintendo gc, below help.

The current (and only) Input Plugin does not support input from anything other than keyboard. Until this changes you can use JoyToKey (http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA016823/joytokey/english.html) to map joystick or joypad commands to the keyboard keys.
