Well, i basically have an emulator on my comp for pretty much everything that has a working emu, and got them all to work. So i decided to launch into the world of mame. HOLY SHIT!!! what do i do? I dled MAME32 0.90 and started it. Cool. I went and got myself a rom of Metal Slug 1, and when i try to run it, i get this error:

sfix.sfx NOT FOUND
sp-s2.sp1 NOT FOUND
sm1.sm1 NOT FOUND
000-lo.lo NOT FOUND

Not sure what to do from here........ What does that error mean? was my dl bad?

You need the Neogeo Biosfiles I believe, you also need to rename them:

NG-LO.ROM should be named 000-LO.LO
NG-SFIX.ROM should be named SFIX.SFX
NEO-GEO.ROM should be named SP-S2.SP1

Depending on the progress of MAME some ROM sets may change and some BIOS files may be added. As a result you can't use old ROM sets with newer versions of MAME. The only things you can do are either to use an older version of MAME (the MAME version is different for each game) or get the latest ROM set for a game.
