I mean, if a post is made of

I think he meant when clicking "quote" from someone's post, not doing it yourself, like I just did, only what you said got quoted, not the quotes in it.

I don't see the point of quotes within quotes. Not to mention that it gets very messy when many people are quoting one another and you eventually have reams of text within a single post.
