When i start PS64 or try load a rom i get this error msg...



Direct3D failed to initialize your HAL device make sure you have properly configured 3D graphics card comatible with Direct3D 6.0


and in the Direct3D7 Error.log file...
[5:12:23 AM 2/2/2002] Error 0x88760091 - Unable to create device


Any idea why? or how i could fix it? thanks :blush:

huh? lol ???

Btw i forgot to say but... i have a AMD 1ghz 240 Mbs ram with a voodoo3 2000 running windows 98 plus i have DX8 not 6 ???

well what display settings do you have? its mostly because either yur resolution is too high or you set it to 32-bit color (which a voodoo3 can't support) it's most likely the 32-bit color problem if you have it set on that.

Thank you :D i was running at 1024x768 32 bit colour now same res just 16 bit works great sorry if it sounded like a dumb qustion but im new to the great world of emulation thanks again :n64:

hey no prob. if you want to get to 32-bit color get a tnt2 at the least ;) :pj64:
