Ok, everyone whos ever had a real n64 will agree
that this thing was certainly not built for computer monitors.

Text usually looks like complete crap, and while some
dig the sharp visuals, I for one think that even 3d looks aweful
without Tv like scanlines.

While usually scanlines and other blitters (blur, sai - whatever)
take a chunk out of performance (which is crucial for n64 emus)
there should be solutions to this issue.

Winkawaks for instance offers alternate scanlines that have a zero performance hit.

P64 would really look tenfold better with a variation of normal
scans !

also there is a note explaining that the emu has been discontinued since pj64 1.4 .

my favorite questions-
ones that have simple answers.

i wonder how many people are working on the source right now? it has to be hard considering how big pj64 is, and thus if anyone is working on it... then they are probably still trying to figure the whole thing out:pj64:

ok, scanlines have to be implemented in the video plugin, and Jabo doesnt like scanlines (we talked about this), hence they aren't implemented. Either use a lower resolution, or TV-out.
