mario forever, have you tried it?

i downloaded mario forever from cnet downloads and i am pretty impressed with it(for freeware). i wonder why the author isnt in hot water with nintendo.
this is exactly like a nes or supernes mario title. music , sound effects and all. will make you think its some lost game nintendo never told you about.

Is it supposed to lock up every time you die? I had to end task it twice. meh...

do you have the 2.16 version? mine didnt lock up.

Don't know; I've already removed and deleted it. It looked nice, nearly identical to the SNES versions, though the audio was of poor quality (constraints of space I suppose), and I hate playing with a keyboard.

It was a pretty good game, but I hated using the keyboard for a side scrolling game like mario.

Ya know, there's a program called JoyToKey that let's you use a gamepad with anything. This seems like a good excuse to try that out.
