What's new

Argh.

GungHo

"Whakka boom," he said.
Alright, now I'm a very disoriented n00b here, and need help. You see, I've recently downloaded PJ64 and the Service Pack, the Paper Mario ROM, the Glide64 plugin, the eVoodo stuff in Doomulator's sig, and it's all chucked around in my files for good measure after trying to understand all the tech-talk I saw in the threads I got when I searched for Paper Mario. *breathes in*

And now nothing won't start, (e.g. pj64) and I get a heck of a lot of messages about my plugins, about glide3x.dll not found, about mscvrr.something missing, and I haven't got a clue.

Can someone show me, nice and easy, mind, what to do?

At your service, dood!
10 day delay eh...

First look at this: http://www.emutalk.net/showthread.php?t=24240
Second of all : put glide3x.dll from Evoodoo where Project64.exe is.

Also HigherHeat it might be wise of you to read posts, he has pointed out what plugins he is using [*Cough*glide64*cough*] and in this case it is completely un-nessicary to post specs as it has nothing to do with this problem, this is just lack of DLL files.

The "post your system specs" post has long been the standard response from one who lacks the technical know-how to help, yet wants to feel that he is contributing. If the original poster then puts up his specs (even when not needed, as is the case here) the follow-up response is usually "update your drivers."

Sounds eerily similar to every tech support "specialist" I've ever talked to. ;)
