i have all three consoles, and each of them get equal chunks of love, but sad to say, ever since my ps2 and then xbox showed up, my gamecube has been in the closet for months, until nintendo sent me a metroid prime 2 echoes demo/preview disc, i've been attached to it, and its also brought me to play SSB: Melee for the first time in about 6 months

it's a pretty good game, i wouldn't say anything special though

after playing the juiced demo, this just doesn't compare to it, you should try juiced, that game is seriously great, its like need for speed underground crossed with the gameplay and graphics quality of project gotham, superb :)

The sparks suck in the Xbox version though, which is odd seeing how the Xbox is much more powerful than the PS2.. compare the two, you'll see what I mean. :yucky:

As long as it plays the same, it doesn't matter, graphics aint everything you know

Anyway, burnout 3 isn't that good anyway compared to the Xbox's other racing games, I prefer Project Gotham, Juiced and NFSU more myself

I'm not one to care about graphics in MOST games, but something like Burnout 3, graphics are really what make it so fun. Would Burnout 3 be so fun on the PSX? Didn't think so.

If it was a good speed and had the same gameplay it could still be quite fun.

Your a zelda fan right? That goes to show that graphics aint everything, Zelda 3 is one of my fave RPGs ever

You're missing the point, nevermind.

I love Zelda LTTP aswell, and in that kind of game, graphics don't make or break it. It's a different story with Burnout 3 though.

acclaim dropped gc support a while ago ... and in other news they also recently filed bankruptcy (http://www.frictionlessinsight.com/archives/2004/08/29-week/index.html#001324) so i guess they got what they deserve :ph34r:

I do see your point partially, for me graphics come 2nd in basically in all games, but I do feel it adds to pleasure to have better looking graphics though, gameplay is a must for me in any game I play though

I wouldn't mine seeing burnout3 in 2d or on the nes,but i must say it's pretty fun to play:).

The crashing is what does it for me... but I really love the signature crash gone fishin. It really fast and good, but the Crash mode sucks, me fav mode is Road Rage.
Anyways I thought Juiced was cancelled due to Acclaims bankrupcy. And 2fast4u acclaim dont publish the game any way, its EA, and its developed by Criteon and the last time I checked EA still published gamecube games.
The only down side to Burnout 3 being published by EA is the EA Trax, it only got skate music onit not much heavy music. And the horrible blue bar at the bottom of the case.

i agree now too, played it round a mates a few times, now i'm well hooked, it's so great crashing into the rivals :)

Played it some more at target for a few hours,i love crashing into opponents,it's so satisfying,this game is definately worth renting or buying:).
