It's actually very strange
On my P3 1 GHz computer, PJ64 wouldn't show the 2D graphics, like the health meter, the magic meter, the Moon at the beginning, and it wouldn't load the transparency right! Some of the plant looks like triangular things! I know someone had this problem before, but know one seem to answer...maybe it's because it's old or something...I dunno, but I really want help with this, because I know probably the majority of you don't have the same problem as I do!

As for my crap video card, you're right, B*A*G*G, it is crap. It's a preinstalled Intel 82810e Graphics Controller...
Wow, I need to buy myself another video card...???

check out pricewatch.com dude, you can find some good prices, you really can't go wrong if you buy a video card worth more than 30 bucks now, cause that video does suck:) i don't suggest it but hell, a voodoo 3 is 31 bucks on pricewatch.com hehe, probably beats what ya have

First of all, I'm not cheap, I just don't think my parents will be very happy if I have to spend over 100 dollars for a video card. Second of all, I'm a female. I would laugh if a guy had such a feminine nickname like mine. Third of all, thanks for the website, I'll check it out one of these days when I do desperately need it.
Fourth of all, I found another plugin that actually shows the health and magic status, and some 2D Pics. I should start getting desperate for something before I post it up :cry:

Anyway, thanks for all your time and trouble, and I refer back to this post before I need to ask about this kind of problem again, :colgate: :thumbsup:

BTW, I've seen a lot of different emulators for N64, and by far, I think this is one of the most flexible emulator I've found, it lets you do all kinds of stuff, and I like things that are flexible...if only I can say the same for the amount of money I can spend...:(

One more thing, how much does a geforce 2 or 3 cost (In CDN please)?

look for Geforce or Radeon Cards( avoid Radeon VE though ), anything in that range would run PJ64 perfect. Cant say how much they cost in Canada, but if u want a good Card u have to choose either of those.

You can get a descent GeForce 2 MX for under $200 me fellow Canadian. I bought mine almost a year ago for $250. A GeForce 3 being about $3800...

Wow, $3800 for a geforce 3? That's shocking...is it really worth that much? ???

Looks like I'll have to get a geforce 2 one of these days...that is if geforce 3's price decides to go down...I don't think the chances of that is very high...oh well... Thanks, Zoomer :)

BTW, thanks for your suggestions N-Rage :D...You're a FFVIII fan too?

Actually, the GeForce 3 can't be anywhere near that much...not if Nvidia wants anyone to buy it. Even the computer doesn't cost that much. That is unless it's just loaded down with hi-tech crap that no one even uses.

I'd say it's probably in the $300 price range. Still expensive, but a lot of bang for your buck...or so I hear. GeForce 3 is probably 10 times the card mine is. :)

i got my g3 ti200 off a ebay dutch auction (brand new in box) for only $124, and i bet if your lucky you can even swipe them cheaper.

About the Geforce, $300 dollars? Geez, looks like I have to pull off really good marks! LOL, I'll get them eventually, probably this Christmas! LOL
