Sorry if this is a redundant topic, but i'm in a little bit of an arguement right now. I'm talking to a guy who claims that they can emulate GC on the xbox because dolphin is just a wrapper. What kind of emulator is dolphin? Is it a wrapper like cxbx, is it strictly LLE, or what? I pretty much know the answer already, but i'd like an official word. Thanks ;).

Dolphin is a GC emulater thats plays GC games. If you want to know if that guy is lying then go to another forum and ask there.

I know very little of the technology behind the emu, but I know for sure it isn't a so-called wrapper. The GC uses a PowerPC processor so a wrapper woudn't be doable. As far as I know it uses combination of LLE and HLE (what doesnt...), but beyond that I have no clue.
On a side note...your friend seem pretty stupid if he actually believes the GC can be emulated on the Xbox.
