Can't get Harvest Moon to run

I'm new to the forum as well as emulation as a whole, so if you can, please cut this poor guy a break.

I just got Dolphin today, and I set the directory to the folder my Harvest Moon GCM is located. It brings up the list where the games are (Harvest Moon is first), and it shows the Harvest Moon icon, title, company, size, etc. I press play and the screen just goes black. I've searched through other threads (as many times I could sanely look through them), and I tried the other fixes that never seemed to work.

My specs are fine, my drivers are up to date, it's just that nothing is going on. No Natsume logo, just a blank screen.

This might not just be a Harvest Moon problem but my Dolphin as a whole, so if you've got any help, please post it.

If it is 1.4 gigs everything should work fine

Try to enable interpreter in Emulation-Interpreter
What are the Core and Video numbers when you start the game

scratch the size problem, it's 1.4 gigs.

and the interpreter thing didn't work.

About how long does it take for you to load? This same thing has been up for a few hours with no loading mouse thing.

edit: just got back over two hours later, and it's still the same screen. Am I missing something here or does it just take this long (which I doubt)?

HDD: 80 Gb
Windows: Windows XP
DirectX Version: 9.0b

that's all I can recall, it really should not have a problem on my computer

And the game runs cheesy fps is about 5-6 ingame lots and lots of gfx bugs so its unplayable

I can get this work ,what is your game ID
