hey knuckles can u help me. i just downloaded dolphin and some roms. but whn i try to run them all i c is a black screen.wht do i do? plz help me.

the emulator is only a teaser at the minute, so barely any games work. Also its against the rules to say about downloading roms from an address

well probably they wont work because the release we've got at the moment don't play the games at a good speed or not at all. Soon there will be a new release to hopefully play the games uve got, but in the meantime u'll have to wait.

wot games? if u mean in the dolphin beta shots thread, thats becuase its a release that hasnt beeen released yet, only to a few people

im not sure, theres an emulator called gcube i think that can play commercial games, but which ones im not sure, but i know that they run at very slow speeds

but i c soo many threads in the forum tht say i cant run this game or tht game, is tht because they r "those few people" using dolphin or is it because they play their games on a different emulator? and do u have n e games? if so wht do u use to play them?

no its becuase that the version of dolphin that is available to download now is only a teaser. This teaser means that it only emulates some games sucessfully, but very slowly. I did have a few games, but i didnt see the point of testin them on the emulator as its a ver yearly version. All u've gotta do is wait for news on the next version to be released and hopefully it may work

Gcube is VERY close, but It can't play comercial games, it can boot them better than Dolphin (you guys might wanna look at the source, it's open source too)

Yeah, Gcube is better at playing demos, but it is still much slower than Dolphin...so in other words, there is no other way to play your games until the new Dolphin release is out, and do not ask when either...we don't know!

But uh, if you wanna play games, I've gotten Crazy Taxi to work and Bust-a-move is known to be fully operative! :P

ok i have crazy taxi but how do i make it work? and how do i install gcube? i have it but it wont work.

yeah but bust a move is at good speeds because its only a 2d game, not fully 3d like zelda wind waker, which only goes around 5fps

doh, you are getting annoying...

dolphin is alpha-software.
You can't play gc-games efficiently.
Crazy Taxi runs if you have quite fast DX9-hardware (DX9... DirectX9); no speacial settings...
The other people that play gc-games on pc do that at a framerate of 10 or less... Only a few games run faster and only 2d-games run at fullspeed (bust.a.move for example)
don't ask questions how to run game X or Y, have a look at the compatibility thread.
read the rules and everything's fine

use interpreter in crazy taxi.and on gcube DRAG and DROP your game to gcube and it start running
