I dont mean to seem like an idiot but i really dont know how to save i mean i press save and i cant find the save or when i press it nothing comes up to say were to save it to. and what are the save slots for. if some one would help me i would really appretiate it.
F5 is the saved state button. F7 is the reload the save state button. Pressing buttons 1 through 0 by themselves selects which slot you want to load/save a slot to/from.

ok this is what ive done i hit the 1 key then i hit the save button and then i xed out and brought it back up to see if it saved and nothing happened is there a way i can close the program and be able to restore my game.
Yeah. Just use the default save state slot, then just make sure to load up the rom you saved with, then press F7 so it'll load from the default slot, then your save should load up.
