every time i enter in the buttons for my controller, the emulator won't save them. i've made sure none of the files are "ready only" and all other emu's are working normally. i'm using the official nemu64 ini file. my sys specs are below, any ideas are greatly appreciated =]

athlon 1.4 / 512ddr, voodoo3, sb live, WIN2k SP2, Direct X 8.1, nemu 0.7a, and my controller is a ms sidewinder gamepad usb

should work fine once youve changed the controller settings in the inout dialgue box nemu saves the settings... make sure you have selected a device for inpput, by default there isnt one selected

... also afaik some programs write to parts of the registry that require you to have admin rights to be modified, and seeing as you're under W2k... is your pad listed here at all: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Nemu\0.7\Inpu t.1\Use ?
