If you have Catalyst 4x, the 32-bit Z-buffer is disabled by default. If you have Catalyst 4x, you're required to go to Control Panel> Display>Advanced>Direct3D> then click on the button, "Compatibility Settings", go to "Support 32-bit Z-buffer depth" and select "Enabled". Then click "Apply" to apply the changes.
