I've just tried the Project64 v1.4, and i've gotta say i'm pretty impressed its definitely the best emu out there thanx again, also been reading on this forum about 1.4 being slower, erm well not on my machine, i've got a Athlon 1.1 ghz, 384 ram and a gainward geforce3 hope this help's.

Well, since u have a fast processor, u won't really notice much. I have a fast processor, too. So I haven't noticed anything either. But those who do not have such fast processors will see the diffrence in speed.

Well, a friend of mines can enjoy pj64 1.4 perfectly, on an Athlon 900Mhz, 256Mb RAM, GF2 GTS Deluxe 32MB.
Pity, on my specs -K6II-500Mhz, GF2 Mx 64MB, 192Mb RAM- it is quite SLOW :angry: . As most of people, i think, has got a 'normal PC' (this means nearer to my specs rather than yours) that's why a lot of them complain about speed lacks... sorry (for me :cry: )

slowest CPU you can buy is a Duron 800 for 40 quid (fine for PJ), well im not counting a C3 cos i got no idea what that is.
