Hi everyone i m new on this forum !
I have tried to try the chanka emulator and found out that my Cpu didn t have SSE and I learned that it never will
therefore i was asking my self if the SSE needed by Chanka will always be needed from how the emulator works or if it was something independent to how the DC (or the emulator) works and might not be needed in the futur versions

it will be needed in the next versions... and there is a good reason for that, sse allow the use of some 128 bits registers (like a dreamcast), it's possible to emulate these registers with 32/64 bits registers but in that case it will slow down dramatically the emulation... that's why it's needed...
