i use 3.46 ...do i have to use 3.29?

yes, 3.29 takes most IOcontrol errors away

can it be the image?
i have made an image of sonic adventure 2 using nero.
the game was on a bootable cd-r.

can this be the problem?
do i have to do the following in order to make an image that can be played?

Hmm, can you see the contents of the CD when you put it in your CD reader? Have you tried running it from the CD? Did you select the right CD-Drive letter to read from in the Chankfast configuration?

i can see the contents of g:image drive!
if i play on the fly (cd-rom) i still get the i/o error.

i made it work on the fly ...
but using nvidia gforce 5600 i get some errors with the grafics now...
anyone know if this has something with my video card?

yes, nvidia cards have some problems with the graphics
