help with starting game

Im trying to play Ikaruga but it wont start. It brings me to the configure the time/clock thing then to the menu where i press Play. Then it brings me back to the time/clock configuration agian, and it keeps doing that. Can anyone help me please? thx.

delete and replace your bios.

make sure the dc_flash.bin is not 'read only'

just to make sure, do you know what the size is for the bin and flash?

here are the sizes of mine:
dc_bios.bin --> 2mb
dc_flash.bin --> 128kb

argghh, mine are also 2mb and 128kb and it still wont start up >.<
maybe im missing a file or messed up on a config or something or plugin or anything, errrrR. I still get that stupid clock thingy. Maybe i did something wrong?

did you actually do what was stated. to check for read only right click the file and click properties in the general tab you want to untick read only if it is on. if nothing else works then get a different version of the bios . there are at least three different ones.

for some reason the bios gets corrupted with certain versions . maybe they all do after a while. not sure.

nice, i got it to work now. Just one last question, does it matter which thing i use, either daemon tools or alcohol - will either of them affect my fps?

Some bios` get corrupted when you try to run certain games, it's always good to make a backup of the dc_flash and dc_bios before running the emulator.
