Is there a setting I am missing for timeout due to inactivity? What I mean is that many times when I am making a post of any reasonable length I find that when I am finished the board has set all the unread posts to read so I don't know what is new since my last visit. If this can only be set by the admin, then please double or triple the timeout length! Yes, I could work around this by opening a second window and clicking on a thread every couple minutes so it doesn't decide I left and want everything marked as read, but I shouldn't have to do this.

I've not experienced this myself, neither have I heard anyone else reporting it.
I suggest deleting your cookies, and then try again.

I'll try that, though I'll have to figure out which ones to leave alone first since I don't want to have to relog on to every message board I'm a member of. Any chance I'm just a slow typist? Anyone leaving long posts have this problem?

Qun Mang : you are not alone, if I keep emutalk open for a while (looking at something else or making a long post) and I come back, it does the same thing, all post are marked as been read , thing that I dislike when I don't have yet, read all new posts :ranting:
