View Full Version : Is anyone having the same problem as me? Can anyone help?

Hi

I have Spawn for DC and chankast 0.2a. I can load the game and everything perfectly and it looks and sounds flawless!

However, when I get to the menu screen my controller seems to stop responding! I cannot move up and down and I cannot select anything in the menu!!

One time when i was pressing random buttons it let me into the game and it worked perfectly (apart from a sound loop, but I know that is affecting many games).

Does anyone know how to fix my problem or is it a bug in the emulator.

AMD AthlonXP 2000+
Giga-Byte GA-7VA
512Mb DDR333
GeForce4 Ti4200
Microsoft Sidewinder (Game Port)
WindowsXP SP1

If any other specs yould be helpful then i will gladly post them!

I have this propblem too,I thought it's a bug in the emulator.

The controller seems to stop,but actually it just moved very slow.Try to press your controller continuously,and you'll see some feedback.

Guys,

You have to remember this is still Alpha stage. There will be lots of problems. It just happens to be a good alpha :).

Yeah I know, I just wanted to make sure it was an emu problem and not a problem with my Hardware!!

Fair enough,

Do this then run the another game and use the controller. What happens then?

I have discovered that if i press all four buttons simultaneously a couple of times then it lets you select the option!

Now when I complete a level it just goes to a black screen!!

And I know it is only a alpha, just thought I would report my findings!!

Yeah, the controller works fine on the other games....guess it must be a bug in the emu!

All we do now is wait for a new version. Make sure you post your findings in the correct thread though, what you did and what the result was.

Here's a possible solution:

Did you try it with Dead or Alive?

If you have trouble with the menus in that game too, here's the solution:

Go into the 2p controller remappings, and remap all the 2p controls so they don't conflict with the 1p controls.

Yeah, that took me a while to figure out - of all the stupid things to make a game not work...
