Zelda Ocarina of Time Problems

I apologize if this has already been posted but I don't really feel like searching through threads to find out what the problem is

Anyways my problem is whenever I run into a house and the beginning or right before the boss in The Great Deku Tree the game just turns pitch black and thats the end of it

Im running:

Pentium 4 2.6ghz
Geforce 2 MX 400 64mb
512 mb of ram

Also Im using Project 64 version 1.5 and installed the Service Pack

I figured it out the game was corrupt so I just got another one and it worked perfectly thanks!
