There's a bunch of neat things in this release. First out is sound buffering, which means working music in Tetris. Also, all four gamepads are now emulated, and you can customize the keyboard bindings. The vsync timing has been changed again; things that ran too fast should be fixed now.

Download it from the official site (http://whinecube.emulation64.com/).

Wow! I would Never expect a Gamecube Emulator to Progress this fast and still is very good. WhineCube might be better than Dolphin if FiRES,ector and Schibo dont hurry up.

Now, y'all shouldn't get ahead of yourselves. Remember that WhineCube was in development almost a year before its release. Also 3D support, quite complex stuff to do, is practically nonexistant compared to Dolphin. So there's a long way to go yet.

Out of interest, why was the emulator called winecube?

WhineCube. :P The name evolved from WinCube through WineCube. It doesn't have anything with whining to do, sleeps (the logo artist) and I just thought it sounded cool. :)

I actually did notice that it was spelt like the endless complaining and not the spirit, a typing error :D

'Whinecube' has that mysterious edge to it as a name for an emulator :)
