direct 3d failure [Archive]

Hello,
Kinda new to P64 emulation. Ive had ultrahle in the past working but now even that is not. My problem is "direct 3d fails to init HAL" any help would be great.

/slaps the n00b

like everywhere says, see if u have a 3d card like nvidia or something, directx7 at least, updated vid drivers, and post specs if u post again

Ive got a g400 w/tvout
cusl2 800M
256 Ram

directx 8.1
and updated vid drivers.

still fail to HAL
sorry for being a novice, just trying to get that damn elmo game to work for my son

set your desktop to 16 bit color instead of 32 bit
