If anyone could help this I'd really apprechiate it. I'm running Windows Media Player 9.X[i don't know the version] and whnever I try to open it or click on a song to play or any media for that matter it refuses to open. The computer will make typical loading noises and then right when it should open it plays the typical Windows xp bleep. I unistalled media player and re-installed and it still hasn't helped. I also tried to to use an old version off a CD i had [7.X] but it wouldn't install cause it said I had a newer version of media player even if I it [the 9.X] unistalled. What is wrong and how can i fix it? What should I try, please help. Im running a Conpaq EvoN10000c laptop with Windows Xp incase it matters.
